National Teams
BAP's national teams are the working groups that drive our campaigns, produce research and analysis, develop political education, and support local organizing. Each team operates as a Coordinating Work Area (CWA) with specific responsibilities to the broader movement.
Members join teams based on their skills, interests, and capacity. All teams report to the National Coordinating Committee.
Africa Team
Dismantling U.S. military presence in Africa
The Africa Team leads BAP's work to expose and oppose the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and broader U.S./NATO military expansion across the African continent. We build solidarity with African liberation movements and amplify African voices demanding sovereignty and self-determination.
Haiti/Americas Team
Defending sovereignty across the Americas and Caribbean
The Haiti/Americas Team opposes U.S. intervention in Latin America and the Caribbean, with particular focus on Haiti's struggle for self-determination. We work to end sanctions, occupations, and regime-change operations that devastate communities throughout the hemisphere.
Research & Archive
Investigative research and historical documentation
The Research & Archive team produces the investigative data, analysis, and documentation that undergirds all of BAP's campaigns. We maintain records of U.S. military operations, track defense spending, and build accessible archives for the movement.
Political Education & Programs
Developing anti-imperialist political consciousness
The Political Education & Programs team designs and delivers curricula, webinars, study groups, and public programming that builds anti-imperialist analysis among BAP members and the broader public. We believe political education is the foundation of effective organizing.
Field Operations & Membership Support
Building local organizing power across the U.S.
Field Operations is the connective tissue between BAP's national campaigns and local communities. We support City Wide Alliances, develop new chapters, manage membership infrastructure, and ensure that every member has pathways to meaningful political work.
