BAP Statement on the U.S.-Backed Assault on Gaza

The Black Alliance for Peace condemns the U.S.-backed Israeli assault on the Palestinian people of Gaza and demands an immediate end to all military aid to Israel.

June 25, 2026

The Black Alliance for Peace unequivocally condemns the ongoing U.S.-backed Israeli military assault on the Palestinian people in Gaza. What is being carried out is not a war — it is a genocide, enabled by billions in U.S. weapons, diplomatic cover at the United Nations, and the bipartisan silence of elected officials who claim to represent the interests of Black and oppressed people in the United States.

We stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people and all movements resisting colonialism and apartheid. We call on all progressive and anti-war forces to build the pressure necessary to end U.S. complicity in this atrocity.

We demand: an immediate, permanent ceasefire; an end to all U.S. military aid to Israel; the lifting of the blockade on Gaza; and accountability for war crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
